What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

The magazine publishing house that might own my magazine is either IPC or Bauer Music Group this is because they have published one of the main rock magazines, IPC has published 'NME' and Bauer Music Group has published magazine a very known rock magazine, 'KERRANG!' and monthly music magazine 'Q'. The product will be distributed at newsagents because this is the traditional way music magazines are sold, but in today's society, it would be better to distribute the product technologically because people are always using their mobile phones and other gadgets to check everything, if the product was to be distributed online, it would mean that a lot of people would want the magazine, due to the way they are using the current technology for distribution.

The magazine will be circulated monthly because it allows people to save some money for a magazine, the magazine will be available through subscription but will not be a lot because if someone was to purchase the magazine without subscription, it would be £2.99, but for a monthly subscription, it would be £6.99 a month. The data about the sales in the Rock genre was higher than the Pop genre in 2013, Rock had 33.8% and Pop had 31%. This information was found on 'www.kerrangradio.co.uk'
